The almost-perfect Turks and Caicos Itinerary

While I wouldn’t recommend the Blue Haven resort, we did have a fantastic time in Turks & Ciacos! We ate at a few restaurants off-resort, which kept us from starving. (If you read the Blue Haven review, you know) Check out the restaurant and excursions we loved.

Private 4-Hour Catamaran Tour from Providenciales in Turks and Caicos – Let’s start with hands down, this was the best excursion we’ve ever had!

The boat and crew were great. The beaches, snorkeling, and views were incredible. Our drinks were kept full and the crew pointed gave us background on the areas we’re were visiting.

It was worth every penny. We will remember this day forever!
I know these pictures kind of all look the same, but I’m telling you – this was the most gorgeous and wonderful excursion we’ve ever experienced.

Caicos Island Charters – We booked the sunset cruise after Lady Grace pulled out at the last minute for maintenance.

It was very convenient for us that they picked up at Blue Haven. The boat was large and clean. The crew kept our drinks full and actively sought to help guests capture pictures. We even saw a dolphin!

Marine Room – Fantastic service and great food!

Loved the swanky vibe, but we were a bit confused about the good reviews of the sunset because its sets behind other buildings next door.

Chef sent an amuse bouche of grouper, which was lovely.

Loved – fritto misto, catch of the day (snapper), bread service (focaccia), garlic mashed potatoes

Chef had basil in a lot of dishes, which is my personal favorite.

Just ok – brussels sprouts (plainly seasoned), roasted chicken (sauce seemed like thinned bottled BBQ sauce), bruschetta (way too much tomato salad on top and super salty)

Outrageous – $50 corkage fee

To give an idea – we had all of the above for $250 without tip, which was in-line if not slightly cheaper than our meal at Infiniti

Wonderful breeze on the deck and the best service we had on the island.

Would come again!

Las Brisas – Came for lunch and the view. Unfortunately their boat was out of commission but the view was great from the deck. It was extremely empty but the service was great and drinks were excellent.

We had cracked conch, which was like chewy calamari

Also had the fish basket and the garlic shrimp.

Don’t know if the garlic shrimp is worth it because while they are large butterflied shrimp, there are only 4 in the order.

We’re glad we went!
